STC Administrative Posts

Welcome STC committee members.  The website is up and operational and can be reached via any web browser at

houstonstc.org

Please go to the “Operators Only” section.  For user name, your government email address is used. The first time you attempt to log in, you will not have a password set and so please use the “I forgot” link. If you have previously used the UASI or other related sites and have a Jetty (formerly Peer) account, you can log in using those credentials and have access to our site.

An email message with a password reset will be sent to your government email.

Use the link to set your own password.  Return to the site and log in.  If you select the “remember me” option, you will not need to log in to the Operators site again.

We are working on a section dedicated to STC planners and committee members as well.  To access this, click on the link at the bottom of the Operators Only section labeled “Planner’s Forum”.  This link uses a separate password.  The password is:

4HoustonSTC$

On the Planners Forum, we have uploaded all of our current plans for your review.  More programmatic related documents will be added in the near future as well as a message post feature.  Anything posted here will be visible by all committee members.  If you have something that needs to go directly to our office or that you would like added to this section, please email me at charlie.johnson@houstontx.gov.

A quick reminder that the material contained within the Operators Only and Planners Forum are FOUO material and should not be freely distributed.  Please don’t share your login information.  If you have people within your organization that needs access, please email me and I can set up an account for them.

We appreciate your time and assistance with getting the program operational.  With over 400 PRDs already issued, we are averaging about one reported alarm per week.  As expected, these are all non-threat situations so far but it does show that officers are using the equipment and are finding sources of radiation in the field.  Please continue to encourage the reporting of adjudicated alarms via using our website or by calling and narrating the details on our voice mail at 832-393-0916.

Thank you,

Charlie
